Information on data protection
General information
The following information gives a brief overview of what happens with your personal data when you visit my website. The term ‘personal data’ applies to all data which allow you to be identified personally. In the following, I have compiled information on what happens to your data when you visit my website.
Who collects personal data and of what nature?
Data processing on our website is performed by the website owner, i.e., me. You can reach me using the contact data provided below and in the masthead.
What happens when your personal data are collected?
Your data are collected, for one, by submitting them to me. This includes data you submit to me via email, for example. Other, technical data, for example regarding the browser and operating system you use and the time of page view are automatically recorded by my IT system when my website is visited.
What are these data needed and used for?
Part of the data is recorded to ensure error-free provision of the website. No analysis of your user behaviour is conducted by me; hence such behaviour cannot be documented.
Your rights:
You may (and have the right to) receive, at any time and free of charge, information on the origin and purpose of personal data stored by me. In addition, you have the right to demand that this data be corrected, blocked or deleted. To exercise this right, you may contact me at any time at the address given in the masthead. Naturally, you also have the right to lodge complaints with the responsible regulatory authority (see below).
And what about analysis tools and other trackers and tools of third-party providers?
My website does not use any analysis tools or other tools designed to record your user behaviour on my website.
General and obligatory information on data protection
As the owner of this website, I take the protection of your personal data very seriously. For this reason, it is treated confidentially and in keeping with data protection regulations as well as this data protection declaration. When you visit this website, this fact alone does not lead to the recording of any personal data. Nevertheless, you must know that data transmission on the internet (for ex. through email communication) may result in security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Information on the responsible authority
I myself am the ‘responsible authority’ for data processing on this website. Here are my contact data:
Martin Heckmann
Aßmannshauser Str. 54, 28199 Bremen, Germany
Telephone: +49 (0) 421 - 43 777 515
Mobile: +49 (0) 173 - 811 95 37
The term ‘responsible authority’ is a German bureaucratic term which means the natural or legal person who decides, solely or in connection with others, on the purpose and means of processing personal data (for ex. names, email addresses, etc).
Revocation of consent to data processing
Several data processing procedures may only be conducted with your express consent, for example your wish to receive my newsletter. You can revoke any previously granted consent at any time. Informal notification via email to me suffices. The legality of data processing carried out previous to such revocation remains unaffected by it, however.
Right to lodge complaints with the responsibile regulatory authority
In the event that data protection laws are violated, you are, as the affected person, entitled to lodge a complaint. Should such a case involve us, please contact the data protection commissioner for the Federal State of Bremen.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have all data automatically processed by me on the basis of your consent or through fulfilment of a contract handed over to yourself or any third parties in a customary, machine-readable format. Insofar as such data is to be handed over to a third party directly, this will only occur to the extent that it is technically feasible.
SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect transmission of confidential content, this website employs SSL or TLS encryption. You can tell whether a connection is encrypted by looking to see if the address in the address line of your browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the key symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, transferred data cannot be accessed by any third parties.
Information, blocking, deletion
In the framework of valid law, you have the right to receive, at any time and free of charge, information concerning any personal data stored by me, their origin and the purpose of data processing. You also have the right to correction, blocking and deletion of such data. Should you have any questions concerning this matter, you can contact me at any time at the address given in the masthead.
Data collection on my website
Cookies
My website uses no cookies of any kind.
Server log files
The provider of my website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files that your browser automatically transfers to me. Such data include:
· Browser type and browser version
· Operating system used
· Referrer URL
· Host name of accessing computer
· Time of server request
· IP address
No integration of such data with other data sources is carried out. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), which allows data processing for fulfilment of contracts or pre-contract measures.
Newsletter data
If you wish to subscribe to a newsletter or similar material offered by me, I require an email address as well as information which allows me to verify that you are the owner of the email address and that you agree to receiving the newsletter. No further data are collected. I use such data exclusively for sending out the requested information and do not pass it on to any third parties. Processing of such data is performed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 [1] GDPR). This consent (to storage of your data, your email address and its use for sending out the newsletter) can be revoked by you at any time through brief informal notification via email. The legality of any data processing procedures carried out previous to revocation remains unaffected by such, however.
The data stored for purposes of subscription to a newsletter are saved by me until such time as you discontinue the newsletter and they are deleted upon cancellation of the subscription.
